First of Many

As a first time blogger and this being my first post, forgive me for the boring look and possible unentertaining information. I hope it will get better as I become a professional;) I know there are thousands of blogs out there and most of them are repetitive and probably mundane but sometimes it just feels good to let people know what's on your mind. This blog will be mostly about my life which seems ordinary from the outside but I assure you things can get interesting as soon as you enter my sphere I like to call chaos:) I am 28 years old, married, have a 14 month old daughter, work for corporate America and I live in Southern California. The only twist to this little biography is that I was born and raised in the Midwest (insert funny cow tipping joke here). I guess that might not be much of a twist, but growing up in a very conservative Christian family and then spreading my wings to one of the most liberal states has definitely caused some self conflict and a tiny bit of culture shock in the past 6 years. I will go into so much more detail about my life throughout my posts but I wanted to give you a little background to warn you! Whatever you do, though, try not to get too obsessed with my life! (Yes that was sarcasm)
"So, why start a blog," you might say? Uuummmm, because it's the thing to do right now! Just kidding, but I seriously love to write and sometimes I feel like things that happen in my life are so hilarious someone else should hear about it. For instance, as you might learn throughout my posts, I used to be a little bit of a wild child and basically wanted to do everything my parents said not to do in my late teen/early adult years. The funny part is that I ended up marrying a pastor. As you try to contain your laughter, just know that I am the coolest pator's wife that has ever walked this planet, and my daughter will NOT become a typical pastor's kid who seem to end up falling subject to the stereotype of rebellious and mischievous! (Here's hopeful wishing). All that being said, I live far away from the majority of my family and I love keeping them and all my friends updated about this craziness I call life, and I would rather make fun of posts on facebook than post my own stuff so a blog seemed like the best choice:-)
So this will be a short but sweet first post encouraging you to 'Stay Tuned' for the complete series of Diary of a Common Woman!
