About
Hello everyone!!! Welcome
to my blog! Although I’ve had my blog for 5 years, I just
got serious about it this year and have had so much encouragement and positive
feedback about it that I thought maybe I should really hone in on what my
purpose is and what to expect. After months of brainstorming and researching
this is where I’ve landed.
First thing’s first…
this is primarily a mommy blog. “UGH! ANOTHER ONE??!” You might be saying?
Before you click out of this and back over to Facebook, hear me
out. I write a lot about mommy things, a little bit about fitness things and
coffee will always be intertwined. My take on this life includes some sassy
humor because I truly believe that if I can’t find something to laugh about in
the midst of my parenting chaos, I will spontaneously combust. I also feel like
if I can make some other people chuckle during a time where tiny monsters run
their lives, I might be making the world of parenting a little bit better. At
least we might be able to get through it together.
I am not a fitness
coach, or professional, or guru…. But my husband and I strongly believe in
health and activity (primarily running) to better our lives so we can enjoy our
munchkins (and each other) for as long as possible. So yes, diet and exercise
will come up on here because, like my children, it’s just a part of our daily
lives… but again, I promise to always bring some humor to the table because…
well, have you ever tried to do a set of jump squats with your three year old
hanging onto your leg? It’s hilarious.
Lastly, I also would
like to throw out there that I love Jesus. My husband works on staff at a
church in Southern California and my family is invested in sharing the love of
Jesus with our community and the world. Which is another reason I share this
blog… the written word is a beautiful way to share our lives and support each
other. If I can connect with even one parent this year to help them realize
they are not alone and that they are loved and supported, then I will have
fulfilled my purpose.
So that pretty much sums
everything up.
This is a safe place!
Feel free to express your feelings, thoughts, emotions!
